WhatsApp Channel Setup ​

You can configure the WhatsApp communication channel from the Application Settings > Channel Settings page. Please follow the steps below in the given order.

IMPORTANT

  • If the number you want to set up already has a WhatsApp account, please review this article before proceeding.
  • If you want to back up your WhatsApp chats, make sure to review this article before the setup.
  • You must have a Facebook Business Account to connect your WhatsApp channel. If you do not have one, you will be redirected to create a business account during the setup process.

Start Setup ​

  • Click the "Start Setup" button. In the pop-up window that appears, click the "Continue as (Profile Name)?" button as shown below. Start Setup

  • Then click the "Get Started" button to begin the setup process in the HeloRobo panel using the number for your WhatsApp channel. Get Started

Business Information ​

  • Next, enter your website and country details as shown below. Your business portfolio and business name will be fetched automatically from your existing account. Then, click the "Next" button. Business Info

  • After providing the business information, proceed to create the WhatsApp account. Click "Next" to continue. WABA

WhatsApp Profile Information ​

  • In the next step, define your WhatsApp profile details. Enter your company name for the WhatsApp Business Account Name and the display name for the profile. The business category is a required field. Additional information at the bottom of the page is optional. WABA Profile

Number Assignment and Verification ​

  • After completing the profile setup, you’ll proceed to the most important step: number assignment. Enter the phone number to be used and select your verification method, then click "Next".

RECOMMENDATION

We recommend using "Phone Call" as the verification method. Since the code is provided by META, SMS services may occasionally fail.

  • Enter the 6-digit verification code sent by META into the code field and click "Next". Number Verification

Setup Complete ​

  • Congratulations! Your WhatsApp channel setup is complete. Click the "Finish" button to finalize the process. Finish
