What Is WhatsApp Voice Calling

We’re taking your business communication with customers one step further. You can now make direct voice calls via WhatsApp and manage incoming calls. This feature combines both messaging and calling in a single platform, making your customer communication faster, easier, and more measurable.

NOTE:

At the moment, outbound calls (initiated by the business) are not supported in Türkiye. Therefore, for Turkish numbers, calling can only be used in the inbound scenario (initiated by the customer).

Enabling Call Settings

From this screen, you can easily configure the calling feature. You can control whether the call button is visible on the chat and profile pages, and define which countries you want to accept calls from. In the "Call Hours" section on the right, you can specify on which days and at what times your business accepts calls. With time zone support, it is now much more practical to define business hours that fit customers in different regions.

NOTE:

To enable call settings, the business must have a limit of at least 2,000 business-initiated messages within a 24-hour period.

Call Answering Screen

When a customer call comes in, a compact call panel opens in the top-right corner of the screen. From this panel, you can answer or reject the call. During the call, you can manage the conversation using basic controls such as turning speaker on/off, muting/unmuting the microphone, and ending the call. When the call ends, the call result (answered / missed / rejected) is automatically recorded and added to call history.

On this screen, which keeps a detailed log of all calls, you can view key information at a glance such as call status (Answered, Missed, Rejected), the operator who answered, call duration, and call start time. With operator-based filtering and date range selection, you can easily analyze past calls and track team performance.
